We serve individuals and businesses across a variety of industries and are looking for an experienced CPA to strengthen our accounting and tax operations.

Position Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable, dependable, and client-focused Certified Public Accountant. This person will review complex tax returns and financial statements, provide technical guidance to our accounting team, and advise business owners on tax and financial matters.

The ideal candidate has strong tax and accounting experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to explain complex financial matters clearly to clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120-S
• Review financial statements, profit-and-loss reports, balance sheets, and general ledgers
• Identify tax-planning opportunities and potential compliance issues
• Provide guidance on federal, state, and local tax requirements
• Review bookkeeping files for accuracy and readiness before tax preparation
• Advise clients regarding business structure, estimated taxes, deductions, and financial reporting
• Communicate directly with clients regarding tax and accounting matters
• Support and train tax preparers and bookkeeping staff
• Assist with IRS and state tax notices, correspondence, and examinations
• Help improve internal quality-control procedures and accounting workflows
• Collaborate with company leadership on complex client matters

Qualifications

• Active CPA license in good standing
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• At least two years of professional tax and accounting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate taxation
• Experience reviewing financial statements and bookkeeping records
• Proficiency with professional tax software and QuickBooks
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines during tax season
• High level of professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality
• Bilingual English and Spanish required
